Strength & Purpose

Meet this month’s cover star Katie Flowers / Katie Flowers

Such an absolute honour to have you featured in Playboy! How has your journey in the industry shaped your personal growth? Thank you, darling, and what a delicious honour it is. My journey has been a bit like stilettos on cobblestones: sometimes graceful, sometimes clumsy, always committed to the look. This industry taught me how to love out loud, leave when it’s time, and glow up from every heartbreak. I’ve learned that softness isn’t weakness. It’s a strategy.

What are some of your biggest dreams you hope to achieve? I want to write a book that women keep in their nightstand and their bedside drawer, equal parts wisdom and wildness. And I’d love to launch a lingerie line that feels like a love letter to the female body. Dream big. Wear lace.

If you could talk to your younger self, what would you say to her? I’d whisper, “Stop apologizing for your sparkle. One day they’ll call it a brand.”

What’s one thing you’ve learned from your journey as an influencer that you wish you knew when you started? That real influence isn’t about going viral, it’s about going visceral. The impact you make when you show up honest, even when you’re not perfectly contoured.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? I’m wildly monogamous with my morning tea, my order, and slightly terrified of goats. Long story.

What are the top 3 best moments of your career?

1. The first time a woman messaged me saying, “You made me leave him in the best way.”

2. Shooting a campaign where the team said, “Just be you.”

3. Saying no to a contract that didn’t respect my value and walking away in heels.

What is your favourite chill time activity? Bubble baths with a face mask and a vintage podcast. Preferably while texting back in lowercase only.

We are taking you out on your ultimate date, and we really want to knock this one out of the ballpark. What would that entail? Take me to an art exhibit, let’s flirt in front of a Klimt, then slow dance in a candlelit kitchen while we overcook pasta. Bonus points if dessert is spontaneous and not store-bought.

What are, hands down, your absolute favourite things to do? Making women laugh at things they were once ashamed of. Wearing silk robes for no reason. Rewriting the ending to my own story again and again.

Who or what motivates you to keep pushing forward? The woman I haven’t met yet, the one scrolling, wondering if she’s too much. I push for her. I push for us.

You have one last chance to do something you’ve always wanted to do, with no limits on anything. What are you doing? Renting a villa in Positano, inviting all my favourite women, and throwing a “Thank You, Next” party for every version of us we had to outgrow.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned that changed the way you approach life? That closure isn’t something you get. It’s something you decide.

If you weren’t in the entertainment world, what career would you love to explore? Something equally glamorous and slightly chaotic, like being a love columnist or running a retreat in the South of France. With rosé. And rules.
