Playmate of the Year & International Cover Star

Meet this month’s cover star Miss Jade / @therealmissjade
How did it feel when you first heard you were named Playmate of the Year? It was surreal. I took a moment to soak it in, and then I smiled so hard it hurt. It felt like one of those rare life moments where everything aligns and you realize you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
Was becoming a Playmate always a goal of yours, or did it happen unexpectedly? My goal has always been to protect my peace and stay happy. This opportunity came unexpectedly, but it added something really special to an already beautiful year.
What was your first-ever photoshoot like, and how does it compare to working with Playboy? My first shoot was exciting because it was all so new. I had no idea what to expect, but I immediately fell in love with being an in front of the camera. This shoot felt entirely different. Everything just was falling into place and it just made sense.

How do you prepare physically and mentally for a high-profile shoot like this? You stay grounded, stay focused, and trust yourself. Not everything will be perfect, but what matters is the energy you bring. I give 100% because that’s what shows through the lens.
What’s something people might not realize about the work that goes into a Playboy feature? There is so much heart behind it. I put real soul and intention into everything I do, especially the interviews. I answer my interviews with thought, hoping readers will connect with something deeper than just the image.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? People are often surprised by how relaxed and low-key I am, especially given my glamorous image. I genuinely love the ease of coastal living and carry that calm energy with me. I know how to switch it on for the camera, but in everyday life, I’m very grounded and easygoing.
When you’re not in front of the camera, how do you like to unwind or spend your free time? I love being in the sunshine with a good playlist, it’s my favorite way to recharge. Music is my escape, especially jazz and blues. There’s something relaxing about it that speaks to me. I definitely consider myself an old soul, and I balance that with my love for movies and the occasional Netflix binge.
How do your friends and family feel about your Playboy journey? They’re genuinely proud of me. My family doesn’t judge me. They care that I’m fulfilled and living a life that feels true to who I am. I give a lot to the people I care about, and they see that. Because of that, they respect my choices and the work I do.

Who inspires you the most, either in modeling or in life in general? My grandmother. She’s one of the most incredible women I’ve ever known. She’s classy, bold, and full of personality. I get so much of my style and confidence from her. She was actually one of the original Playboy Bunnies, and she’s always inspired me to be unapologetically myself.
What message do you hope to send to women who see your feature? There will always be people who tell you you’re not enough or that you can’t do it. Listen to your heart instead. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, believe in you, and remind you of what you’re capable of.
How do you define confidence and sensuality in your own terms? Confidence and sensuality start when you stop looking outward for validation. Tune into yourself and everything begins to align.

What’s next for you any goals, projects, or dreams you’re excited about? After an incredible chapter living in Australia, I am now based in California full-time and couldn’t feel more inspired for what’s next. I love being here and am so grateful for the exciting opportunities ahead.
How do you stay grounded in an industry obsessed with perfection? I ground myself by staying intentional. When you know who you are and why you’re doing something, the noise fades away.
How do you hope to use your platform as Playmate of the Year to make a lasting impact? For me, the lasting impact comes from showing women they don’t have to lose themselves to be seen. You can be magnetic and classy, unapologetically yourself, and still hold your dignity close. That’s the kind of impact I want to leave behind.
