———–

Could you tell us a bit about yourself?  I’m cheerful and calm for the most part! I enjoy the little things in life like the sunshine, being active outdoors in nature, going to the movies, and spending time with my family. As a Taurus, I definitely like my comforts too.

Can you give us a background on your career and where it all started? I began working as a model in Ireland where I grew up and later on I got booked for a billboard campaign in Los Angeles which brought a lot more modelling work in America. I’ve traveled to so many places throughout my career for shoots or shows. I feel very grateful to have seen so much of the world and to have all the photos to look back on from my time in the fashion industry.

What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself?  That I can be brave and have courage when I need to.

What is the biggest misconception people have about you?  I am kind of shy and sometimes a little awkward or in my own world, so I worry that people might think I’m rude or standoffish. I try harder to be more sociable to make up for this.

Do you have any hidden talents, if so what is it? I wish I did! I qualified as a yoga teacher right before Covid hit so maybe that’s something I can go back to someday.

In what ways do you use your platform to inspire or influence others? Well, I like to share pretty pictures purely for fun and because I always feel inspired by Pinterest pictures of places and styles. It’s one way of capturing the magic and beauty of life. I also try to keep an authentic tone and be very clear that social media is a highlight reel and not people’s day-to-day life. On photo shoots, they can make you look however they want and it’s definitely not how I am going around day to day. I also only promote things I genuinely like and I work with charities that are aligned with my values whenever I can.

What message do you hope to convey through your work? I like to come across as positive, promote a healthy lifestyle, and hopefully inspire other girls to follow their dreams. I’m happy to share my experience as an Irish model who got to make a life in America. I try never to speak to any very serious issues that I am uneducated on.

How do you prepare mentally and physically for a big photoshoot or event? I will make a list of what I need to do so I can feel like I’m not forgetting anything and accomplished when I tick things off! I try to book any beauty appointments the week before and use those times to relax. I love to do a spray tan so I feel more confident. I used to be very strict with diet and exercise but I’ve learnt that I sleep better and look my best when I’m well nourished and happy. Not by depriving myself.

When you’re not working, what helps you decompress and relax? Reading, baths, podcasts, ordering take out, and watching a comfort show in bed. My favorite one is “Call the Midwife” There are such heartwarming characters and there are 14 seasons.

What’s the strangest fan encounter you’ve ever had? I’ve had only nice encounters so far. Fingers crossed.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with only one accessory, what would it be? A journal to write about the experience.

What’s your go-to guilty pleasure snack? Cereal.

Thanks for taking the time to speak to us, do you have any last words or advice for our readers? “There’s always another way!” is my new favorite quote.
