Can you give us a background on your career and where it all started? I went to college and specialized in geography and history which led to me working in the tourism sector of Vancouver, Canada for 3 years. The pay wasn’t great and I had been supplementing my income with burlesque and other party gigs on weekends. My bestie at the time had been dancing on the Canadian showgirl circuit for over a year and my first booking ended up being in Kitimat, BC, just south of Alaska. In the last ten years, I have been graced with opportunities to perform on stages across Canada, Europe, Australia, and the US. I love everything that dancing has brought into my life.

What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself? I’ve learned to be resilient while also being patient with myself. I think the best thing you can do for yourself is enjoy your time while you’re in it and have realistic goals set so you can keep moving forward.

What is the biggest misconception people have about you? People always assume I’m Canadian since that’s where my career in this industry began, but I’m actually born and raised in Bulgaria and immigrated to Canada when I was 9. It’s a big contributor to how I’ve been able to take my career to so many destinations! Do you have any hidden talents, if so what is it? I’m a fantastic cook, but you need an invite to my house first before you find out.

How do you prepare mentally and physically for a big photoshoot or event? Get as much sleep beforehand knowing that most events are multiple nights long.

When you’re not working, what helps you decompress and relax? Long baths with salt soak.

What’s the strangest fan encounter you’ve ever had? I had a fan shove my foot almost fully into his mouth and smile at me like a toad that has just caught a fly, during a VIP champagne room. He was nice enough to tip exxxtra for not giving me a heads-up.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with only one accessory, what would it be? A solar-powered vibrator preferably a womanizer brand.

What’s your go-to guilty pleasure snack? Caviar and champagne.
