How do you usually begin your day? I like to wake up early to give myself a head start. Typically, I like to start with a brisk walk or some light stretching while I drink some water or unsweetened tea. After my shower, I like to set positive intentions for my day while also writing my to-do list and positive affirmations on my whiteboard.
If you could spend the day doing anything you wanted, what would it be and why? If time and money weren’t a factor I’d say I’d spend it with all my loved ones, distant relatives included and we would all just take a day to celebrate life and each other because I believe unity is strength and those moments mean a lot to me.
What are your favorite ways to unwind and relax when you are not working? I like to disconnect for a second and take a long drive out somewhere in nature, with a nice picnic lunch, and enjoy the scenery. I also enjoy a nice bath with some soothing music after a long day.
Do you have a hidden talent, if so what is it? I like to write poems, and songs and I sing.
What’s the best place you have ever been to in the world? My heart is set in Cozumel Mexico, a mesmerizing island, from the turquoise waters to the culture and the food. One of my favorite memories was swimming and seeing all the beautiful sea life.
What are some of your biggest dreams you hope to achieve? I dream of traveling to many more places to experience different cultures. I dream of one day having the financial freedom to help others and to be able to build generational wealth for my family.
3 things that you can’t go a day without? I’d say, physical activity, something sweet and cuddles.
Looking back what advice would you give your younger self? I’d say, don’t be afraid to upset people for setting healthy boundaries. Discipline and accountability are what will set you apart. They are more important than temporary fun. Learn to forgive yourself and others, and try your best.
That said, what advice would you give women out there when it comes to love and relationships? Make sure you know yourself first, that way you know who will compliment your spirit. Take care of those who take care of you. Don’t leave things unsaid, remember that it’s you two against the world, not you two against each other. Be the best version of yourself so you can show up healthy for those you love.
Are there qualities or traits you find particularly attractive in a partner and what do you value the most? I like a partner who is goofy and attentive. Also, someone who is patient and kind. I value honesty the most, I think it’s the bravest and most important characteristic to have.
