All about Jess next door.

Tell us something surprising about you?

I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling, and I was a school teacher at one point.

Were you excited to shoot for Playboy?

Ummmm, of course!

What inspires you?

Success stories. The underdog tale. It’s very relatable to me, because I have lived it. I’m still living it. I cannot stand when people say I can’t do this or that. It sparks a pretty intense drive in me to prove them wrong.

Why did you choose to pursue a career in modelling?

I have been lots of things. Educator, wedding planner, cake artist…I believe in self-evolution. Otherwise, I get bored. Fashion, beauty, cameras!!! I’ve always l loved all of it. Modeling was a natural progression for me. After my first real shoot, I was absolutely in love with the process, and the results.

Who do you look up to in the modelling industry?

I have a real admiration for Tyra Banks. She was an iconic 90’s super model, she’s had so many successes from CoverGirl to Victoria’s Secret to ANTM to her cosmetic line. She’s like the ultimate powerhouse in reinventing herself and is a success at so much of it. Obviously, she’s more than a pretty face. She’s put her intelligence to work.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love to cook, play the piano, sing, and I still have a wedding cake shop! I play golf, and volunteer at a local elementary school. I recently took up Cutting it’s a Western horseback riding competition.

Name three things on your bucket list?

Travel! Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Holland in bloom, and Carnival in Brazil

Turn-ons

Baseball caps, oysters, southern accents, sense of humor, confidence, generosity, good dancers, vodka, good grammar, blue eyes, directness, courteousness, adventure…how many are we allowed???

Turn-offs

Mama’s boys, man buns, video games, rudeness, awkward quiet, bad manners, cell phone addiction, control freaks, egotistical bs, slouchy dressers, not switching up the routine 😉

Describe to us your perfect date

Somewhere new! It could be a weekend pop off to Vegas, or quiet B&B. I love uncomplicated dates like riding a Ferris wheel by the beach, a moonlight picnic, or wine tasting…as long as we get lost together, its perfect!

Which world capital would you most like to visit, and why?

Paris! “City of love, city of lights”, as they say. It’s history, architecture, and fashion have always been so fascinating to me. I do believe, it is the most romantic city in the world.

What is your mantra?

Be brave.
