If you’re familiar with the fashion world, then Eniko Mihalik’s delicate features and kittenish sex appeal ought to look familiar. And if you’re not, you can easily appreciate her sly breed of beauty anyway. Born in Békéscsaba, Hungary, Eniko has been modeling since she was 14, when an agent discovered her at the local mall. A few years later, in 2002, she placed fourth in the Elite Model Look contest and soon enough, she was walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on the regular, storming the runway for designers like Givenchy and Versace, and posing for the famed (and sometimes infamous) Pirelli calendar. Not bad for “fourth place.”
“Every woman is criticized and torn down,” says the New York City-based supermodel, who has a penchant for board games, bagels, and a fresh pair of Air Jordans. “I’ve wanted to quit at times, but I sucked it up and perservered…You can’t please everyone, but you can walk away, close your ears and keep going.” Well-said.
